Volunteer meeting #3 - Tuesday, April 1st @ 6:00 PM, in Room 10, Municipal Building. This will be the third project meeting. At the last meeting the volunteer group formed several subcommittees: Fundraising & Publicity, Design & Construction, and School Liaison.
This web page and the Document Center web pages will be used temporarily to share public information. As the project moves ahead we anticipate building a new website as a valuable resource for volunteers and residents of Pemberton Township.

Possibilities...
Toms River, located in Ocean County, replaced its Castle Park playground in 2005 after discovering that the community built playset was constructed with CCA treated lumber. The playset and contaminated soil were removed. Soon thereafter, Castle Park II was constructed...Click here for a slide show of Castle Park II.
Same story for Stafford Township. The Township replaced Planet Playground, another community built playset, because of the concerns about CCA treated lumber...Click here for a slide show of the Township's replacement playset.
Tabernacle recently installed new playground equipment at two township playground areas. The equipment replaced the township's old wooden playground that was constructed out of CCA-treated lumber and was out of compliance with new playground safety regulations. The cost for the two sets of equipment was approximately $94,000, including site design work.
