Pemberton Township
Master Plan & Visioning Project

Ragan Design Group has been contracted by Pemberton Township to prepare a new Master Plan in cooperation with the Planning Board, Mayor's Office, and Township Council. The Master Plan is a policy document to guide decisions regarding land use and development in Pemberton Township. The Master Plan provides recommendations regarding zoning regulations for consideration by the Planning Board and Township Council.

The Master Plan process involves public participation from citizens, community leaders, elected and appointed officials, business owners, interest group advocates and non-profit organizations. Out of this process of public dialogue should emerge a vision of what Pemberton Township is and what it is has the potential to be.

We have divided the Township into six neighborhoods. See Area Map. We will hold public workshops in each neighborhood on the following dates and times:

At these meetings representatives of Ragan Design Group will make a brief presentation to residents and solicit their input regarding various Master Plan issues including: Traffic Circulation (speeding, cutting through streets, bike/walking trails, parking, traffic, etc.); Land Use (development regulations, community facilities, and redevelopment); Recreation (field conditions, sufficiency of recreation facilities, needed upgrades, etc.); and other related topics.

Mayor David A. Patriarca, Township Council and Ragan Design Group would like to invite residents of Area #5 to the third Master Plan workshop meeting on Monday, March 24, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. at the Presidential Lakes Firehouse.
