Instructions to register with the Nixle-Pemberton Public Safety and Community Notification System:

1. Register for a no cost Nixle account. You will be asked to create a user name and password, and to enter the cell phone number and email address from which you would like to receive text message and email alerts.

2. You will receive an account activation text message with instructions.

3. After your Nixle account is activated you will be able to log in to your own Nixle "Wire" Page. You will see four tabs on the top of the page. Click the Settings tab.

4. You should see "Pemberton Township" on the list of Burlington County area agencies. If so, activate the Pemberton Township agency and choose from the drop down menu what level of alerts you wish to receive on your cell phone. We suggest that you accept Advisories, Traffic, Community.

5. If you do not see "Pemberton Township" on the list of Burlington County area agencies, you need to scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "search for it here" link, type "pemberton" in the search box, and manually find Pemberton Township in the search results. Then follow the procedure in paragraph 4 above.

It is important that you find and activate Pemberton Township, otherwise you will be registered for a Nixle account but you will not receive Pemberton Township alerts.
