Lien Redemption

Liens can only be redeemed by a party holding a legal interest in a particular property. If a foreclosure action has been initiated, then redemption must only be in the cause (you must be named as a defendant in the foreclosure action). Lien redemption requests must be submitted in writing using the Request for Tax Lien Statement Form

Information Needed for Redemption Request

Please include your name (if Attorney, Mortgage Company, Title Company - please include who is the represented party), contact information (phone, fax and email), and interest date redemption is desired. Lien Redemptions must be paid in full. No partial payments are allowed. If there are multiple liens on a property, they may be redeemed independently. Payment of Liens must be by Certified Funds.
