Air Force Civil Engineer Center PFAS Open House
Rescheduled to 6-5-24

The Air Force Civil Engineer Center will host a per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) Open House from 6 - 8 p.m. on June 5, 2024 at the Country Lakes Firehouse (Station #3), 103 Firehouse Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015. The Open House will inform the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst’s surrounding communities on the Department of the Air Force’s private drinking water sampling program. While all community members are welcome to participate in the Open House, it is highly recommended for those residents who obtain their drinking water from a private well within the focus areas to attend. Community members will be able to ask PFAS-related questions to subject matter experts from JB MDL, the Air Force Civil Engineer Center, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region II, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, and the N.J. Department of Environmental Protection, as well as view informational posters on this topic. For more information or to see if you are located within a focus area, visit the JB MDL PFAS information page at https://www.jbmdl.jb.mil/PFCs/ and select the “PFAS Site Maps” hyperlink in the right column, or call the JB MDL Public Affairs Office at 609-754-2104.
